What Japanese word is the best translation for the color mauve?

The online dictionary at Monash University gives me "wakamurasaki" (若紫, lit. "young purple"), but at Google translate I got "fujiiro" (藤色, lit. "wisteria color"). Is one of those a better translation than the other, or is there some other word that better represents the color mauve in Japanese?

I believe 藤色(fujiiro) is the most common and it is specified in JIS, Japanese Industrial Standards, Z 8102:2001 as the color #A09BD8.
Reply:The "best" answer actually persuaded me *away* from accepting "fujiiro". I found a list of japanese color names and hex color values, and "murasaki" was more evenly darker than mauve, as compared to "fujiiro". Report It

I guess 藤色 has been conventionally picked as a translation for mauve but actually 若紫 seems to be the closest color.
