Grab your spade and cut a circle around the base of the plant about 3 feet from the main trunk. Often, trimming the roots this way will force the plant to divert more energy into producing flowers. It will not harm the plant. Good luck---
How can i get my wisteria plant to flower,it has been planted now for 3 years and just adds new leaves any one
Our wisteria took about 5 years to flower, but it was in a slightly shady spot so that probably slowed it down some.
I would guess that yours just needs more time to mature.
Reply:I think that wisterias often take a long time before they start flowering. You might want to check to see if you should be doing something like watering it more or less often, or feeding it. Be patient. Even if it takes a few more years it will be worth it!
