When should I plant a small wisteria tree?

There is really no such thing as a small wisteria. I grant you they are absolutely beautiful, but they don't stay small very long. The first year they are calm and don't do much beside sleep. In year two they creep. In year three they leap. Be careful in year three.

When should I plant a small wisteria tree?
You can plant it now, but please be aware that Wisteria takes a long time to establish and you will not see any signs of growth until next year, plant it in a protected spot where it will get full sun and don't expect any flowers for a few years, so you must be patient with this plant, a lot of failures are due to people thinking it's dead and not giving it time to settle down. But it's well worth the wait for such a beautiful plant.
Reply:Early spring....so probably now.
